Since we are a member of the Canadian Association of Independent Credit Counselling Agencies and a Government Licensed / Bonded Agency we are able to contact creditors and negotiate better terms and lower (or zero) interest rates. If you were to call the same institutions, you would not be able to negotiate these terms as a individual.
How can we do that?
We can change the terms of the debt you owe to creditors because of our position as a credit counselling agency. We have authority with creditors and can use our authority to consolidate your debt into a single monthly payment as well as reduce the amount of interest you are charged for the debt you currently have.
